Solgar is proud to introduce a truly dairy, lactose, and milk-free acidophilus product: our newly reformulated Advanced 40+ Acidophilus Vegetable Capsules. This new proprietary formula, developed by Solgar over the course of several years, is unique in that no dairy is used whatsoever in the manufacturing process.

Nearly all other milk-free probiotic products are grown on a culture medium that contains milk. Once the growth of the probiotics is complete, they are separated from the milk media and put in a dairy-free base. However, because Solgar is always striving to better our formulations, we were dedicated to finding a way to culture our probiotics without the use of milk — and we succeeded.

Advanced 40+ Acidophilus is 100% safe for people who are allergic to, or choose not to eat, dairy. Each capsule delivers 300 million viable microorganisms each of L. acidophilus, B. lactis, L. paracasei, L. rhamnosus GG, and S. thermophilus, which support digestive health, boost immune function, maintain a healthy balance of intestinal flora, and help control occasional diarrhea. These strains were specifically chosen because they manufacture key vitamins that are difficult for seniors to obtain from food.

Suggested Use:

As a dietary supplement for adults, one (1) to two (2) vegetable capsules daily, preferably at mealtimes, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

To assure freshness and potency, store at room temperature or refrigerate. Although it is not required, refrigeration helps to further preserve the probiotic microorganiss.
