Why is Azulene Eye Treatment blue? Does it contain artificial colors?
There are no artificial colors in Azulene Eye Treatment. The blue color is the result of a very high concentration of a blue Chamomile flower extract called "Chamazulene."

Does it leave your skin blue?
Absolutely not! Only a small amount is used, and the creme is so quickly absorbed there is not blue color left on the skin.

Exactly what is "Chamazulene"?
Chamazulene is the concentrated extract of blue Chamomile flowers containing the distilled rich oil of Chamomile. It takes thousands of flowers to yield a small amount of Chamazulene. This ingredient acts as an anti-irritant to help reduce redness and puffiness in the eye area.

Why is Azulene Eye Treatment good for skin?
The Chamazulene is a natural anti-irritant, anti-redness, healing oil. The oil is especially good for dry skin or skin conditions that show dry skin as a symptom. Further, this ingredient acts to help reduce dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.

What other ingredients are in Azulene Eye Treatment?
The formula also contains Eyebright Extract, Bilberry Extract and Kola Nut Extract to soothe the eye area and help reduce dark circles under the eyes. A small amount of Alpha Hydroxy Acids keeps skin fresh and healthy looking.

Are there petroleum products in Azulene Eye Treatment?
There are no mineral oils, Petrolatum or other such petroleum products in the formula. (Petroleum products can contain Hydrocarbon contaminants.)

Is this product considered a "light" or "rich" formula?
Azulene Eye Treatment is a very rich moisturizer in addition to an excellent eye treatment. Vegetable Squalane, Safflower Oil and Jojoba Oil provide a rich, skin softening base for the Chamazulene.

How do you use it?
A small amount goes a long way and works best before bed. After cleansing and removing all make-up and eye shadow, gently massage only a very small amount around the eye area. It can also be used during the day and works well as an excellent moisturizer.

Which Alpha Hydroxy Acids are in the formula?
We use a mixture of Alpha Hydroxy Acids in small amounts. (Too much of these acids can cause peeling of the skin.) We use Lactic and Citric Hydroxy Acids in this formula. We've spent 3 years of research to determine the perfect blend and exact amounts are confidential.

Are there any other uses for Azulene Eye Treatment?
Use the product anywhere lines, wrinkles or dry skin appear. Knees, elbows and throat areas all benefit from this formula.

Is it fragrance-free?
There are not artificial fragrances in the formula. It does contain very small amounts of natural Lavender and Jasmine aromatherapeutic oils.

Is the product tested on animals?
No. We review each ingredient's safety history and avoid new, untested materials. We use time-tested formulas and test on human volunteers.
