Botanical Name: Melaleuca alternifolia.

Possessing an intense, medicinal aroma, tea tree can be used by the drop directly on the skin to cleanse and purify.

Originally used by the Bungawalbyn Aboriginal Tribe along the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia, organic tea tree oil now finds its way into an Aura Cacia Organics essential oil bottle. Both hand and machine harvested from May through August, our organic tea tree oil comes from only one family-owned plantation.
