Fresh Eyes

Ingredients:

Aqua, glyceryl stearate, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, hamamelis, L-ascorbic acid, kojic acid, daisy flower extract, Haloxyl™, stearic acid, olea europaea (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) fruit oil, Eyeliss™, lemon peel extract, D-alpha-tocopherol, organic aloe barbadensis leaf extract, eyebright extract, licorice root extract, cucumber extract, green tea heart (EGCG), chamomile (reticula matricaria) extract, arnica montana flower extract, organic lavender essential oil, organic grapefruit essential oil, retinol, allantoin, chamomile (anthemis nobilis) extract, marshmallow root extract, xanthan gum, jasmine alcohol.

aqua: Distilled water.
glyceryl stearate: Skin emollient, and also used as an emulsifier in formulations. Derived from palm kernel or soy oil for cosmetic use. It is also found naturally in the human body.
glycerin: A humectant and emollient from plants. It absorbs moisture from the air, and helps keep moisture in creams and other products.
cetyl alcohol: Cetyl alcohol is a nonionic surfactant, a gentle humectant that promotes the retention of moisture in the skin, lather booster, emulsifier and thickener in creams and lotions. Derived from palm oil.
hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract: Witch Hazel has antihistaminic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, astringent and antibacterial properties.
L-ascorbic acid: Vitamin C improves skin elasticity, decreases wrinkles by stimulating collagen synthesis, reduces erythema, promotes wound healing and suppresses cutaneous pigmentation.
kojic acid (kojic dipalmitate): Kojic acid is used for its excellent whitening effects.
daisy (bellis perennis, L.) flower extract: Emollient, tonifying and soothing.
haloxyl™: In scientific studies, Haloxyl has been proven to fade dark circles by using a series of natural enzymes that break down the blood around the tender under-eye area. Over time, Haloxyl aids in preventing blood leakage as it helps to strengthen the weakened capillaries. stearic acid: Naturally occurring in butter acids, cascarilla bark and vegetable lipids. Emulsifier and thickening agent, pearlizing substance, lubricant, softens the skin.
olea europaea (olive) fruit oil: Olive oil is a rich mixture of components, which include unsaturated fatty acids, polyphenols, Vitamin E, tocopherols and squalene that together help soften, moisturizing and reduce scarring on the skin.
eyeliss™: EYELISS™ helps reduce puffiness and bags under the eyes. Puffy eyes are due to fluid build-up caused by poor drainage, fragile capillaries, and loss of elasticity. Fluid leaks into surrounding tissues and produces the “bags”. EYELISS targets all three conditions:
1. The dipeptide Valyl-Tryptophane improves drainage.
2. Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone helps reduce capillary fragility.
3. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 helps reduce irritation and skin slackening by increasing skin firmness and elasticity.

citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel extract: Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract acts as an anti-edemetic to help reduce puffiness in tissue, and is a depigmentation factor.
d-alpha-tocopherol: Vitamin E is considvered to be one of the more stable antioxidants, and it has been implied by scientists to protect the skin from environmental pollutants and sunlight through its antioxidant capacities; it can also provide protection from free radical damage. It is excellent for cuts and scars.
organic aloe leaf extract: Hydrating, softening, healing emollient with anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright) extract: Eyebright Extract is obtained from the figwort plant family. The extract is used primarily in products for the care of eye contour tissue to reduce irritation, inhibit inflammation and reduce undereye puffiness.
licorice root extract: Licorice extract contains a multitude of fractions that play distinctly different roles. anti-inflammatory, UV erythema reduction and inhibits histamine release, has antioxidant properties, UV absorbing action, tyrosinase-inhibition activity, anti-inflammatory properties, antimicrobial activity and Super-Oxide Dismutate-like activity.
pumpkin seed extract: Pumpkin Seed Extract contains pantothenic acid, unsaturated oils and is used as a powerful antioxidant and contains a wide spectrum of Vitamin A derivatives, activiating cellular turnover.
green tea heart (EGCG): The active constituents in green tea are the catechin polyphenols called Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG). EGCG has been shown to prevent UV caused cancerous and non-cancerous skin tumors. Green tea catechins are potent antioxidants that provide health benefits beyond their ability to neutralize free radicals.
chamomile leaf extract: Chamomile has been used for years for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, antidermatitic and antiseptic properties.
arnica montana flower extract: In the skin care industry, Arnica extract is used as an astringent, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. According to some studies, it promotes healing, and strengthens capillaries and tissues.
organic lavender essential oil: Excellent source of zinc and essential fatty acid. It helps skin renew as it moisturizes.
organic grapefruit peel essential oil: Anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties.
Retinols are the precursors to Vitamin A. Retinols have many important biologic effects: They regulate growth and differentiation of epithelial cells. Derived from carrots, sweet potatoes and cantaloupes.
allantoin: Healing, soothing, and believed to aid in the healing of damaged skin by stimulating new tissue growth. Derived from the comfrey root.
anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower extract: Chamomile has been used for years for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, antidermatitic and antiseptic properties.
althaea officinalis (marshmallow) root extract: Anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory, soothes irritated tissue.
xanthan gum: AKA cornstarch gum. Serves as a texturizer, carrier agent, and gelling agent. Also stabilizes and thickens formulations.
jasmine alcohol: Preservative, anti-bacterial.
