Q. Do I have to use a toner after cleansing?
A. Yes because an effective cleanser should not be pH balanced and therefore pH balance must be reestablished after cleansing. But a toner should provide more that just pH balancing. Q. I love your Fruit Enzyme Mist and find myself using it throughout the day. Can I overdo it?
A. No, we actually recommend misting your skin throughout the day to provide anti-inflammatory ingredients. Especially if you live in a dry climate or travel much, this product will be your best friend to avoid those fine lines and wrinkles. Remember, the difference between a prune and a plum is water, not oil. So hydrate, hydrate, hydrate with our Fruit Enzyme Mist.

Q. You only have one toner. Is it o.k. for my daughter and me with acne and problem skin as well as for my dry, sun damaged, mature skin to use the same Fruit Enzyme toning mist?
A. Yes, the beauty of our FEM is that it provides benefits for all skin types. There is no need to add a different toner for different skin types. All skin types can benefit from fruit enzymes, antioxidants, anti inflammatories, and hydrators.

Ingredients:

Aqua, hamamelis extract, glycerin, heavy water, fruit enzymes, pineapple extract, phospho-lipids, turmeric, PBN (Spin Trap), D-beta fructan, D-beta glucosamine.

aqua: Distilled water
hamamelis: AKA witch hazel. Anti-inflammatory, wound healing, anti-itching, anti-carcinogenic, softening, with emollient properties that soothe irritated skin. From the leaves and bark of the plant.
glycerin: A humectant and emollient from plants. It absorbs moisture from the air, and helps keep moisture in creams and other products.
heavy water: This water naturally occurs in saline lakes and in deep sea water. It bonds more strongly than regular water with the skin and other connective tissue preventing the skin from drying out as quickly or as deeply. Has remarkable protective and preserving action on tissue. fruit enzymes: Skin refining properties. Protein (keratin) digesting enzymes that have the ability to digest dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, revealing a smooth, fresh appearance.
pineapple extract: Contains bromelain, a keratin digesting enzyme.
turmeric: Derived from an East Indian herb. Turmeric is a yellow coloring agent with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
PBN: Very powerful antioxidant. Instead of destroying the rogue oxygen (free radical), it traps it then exports it into the respiratory cycle where it is utilized in tissue respiration. Also known as phenyl-butyl-nitrate or Spin Trap. From the nitrogen of plant roots.

D-beta fructan: Escorts Vitamin C to the cells, promotes better quality collagen and elastin, supplies nitrogen to the skin, strengthens the skin’s immune cells, is an amino sugar that bolsters the skin’s ability to moisturize, strengthen and generally defend itself. D-beta glucosamine: This amino sugar is a component of hyaluronic acid, one of the glycosaminoglycans (polysaccharide chains) that make up the extra cellular matrix (ground substance) of the dermis which contains elastin and collagen. These compounds bind water and are involved in the maintenance of the water and salt balance of the skin and keep the epidermis in tighter alignment with the dermis. Suggested Use:

Mist skin after cleansing or whenever the skin feels dehydrated, even over makeup, especially powder foundation. Close eyes while misting. For best results, especially in dry climates, mist face every 2-3 hours.
