Suggested Use:
Adults: Start with two teaspoons (approx. 7 g) with 8 oz of liquid. Increase gradually up to three (3) times daily over a period of two (2) weeks, giving your body time to adjust to the increased intake of fiber without any discomfort. Children (6-12 years) half the adult dose.
Warnings:
Do not take if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention.
If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits lasting 2 weeks, consult a physician before using a laxative. If the recommended use of this product for 1 week has no effect, discontinue use and consult a physician. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Discontinue use and consult a physician if there is rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use. Frequent or prolongued use of this preparation may result in dependence on laxatives. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
This food should be eaten with at least a full glass of liquid. Eating this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not eat this product if you have difficulty in swallowing.
