Soy Isoflavones - Maintains skin elasticity and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Clinical study

A study was performed on 20 women between the ages of 36 and 54 years showing signs of age (wrinkles). The patients were to take 1 fish gel in the morning and 1 fish gel in the evening with a meal. The participants were also restricted from using any skin product (dermopharmaceutic or cosmetic) other than typical cleansing products, the day before and throughout the duration of the study.

The study lasted for 84 days (12 weeks) and was observed in 3 visits for clinical evaluation. Measurements of the severity (depth) of wrinkles were taken at the start of the study, 28 days into the study and at the end of the study. Results were obtained by laser measurement in order to take into account the 3 dimensions of the cutanieous relief. The degree of wrinkle definition on the cutaneous relief was displayed in silicone polymene (Siflo®) and then analyzed. The patients answered a questionnaire at the end of the study on their impressions of the product.
