Saw Palmetto is a small palm tree with red berries which has traditionally been used by Native Americans. The red berries contain high concentrations of plant sterols, including B-sistosterol. In addition, the berries provide a variety of fatty acids and phytosterols which may help maintain a healthy prostate.
