Solgar is proud to indroduce a truly dairy, lactose, and milk-free probiotic product: our newly reformulated Multi-Acidophilus Powder. This proprietary formula, developed by Solgar over the course of several years, is unique in that no dairy is used in the manufacturing process.

Nearly all other milk-free probiotic products are grown in a culture medium that contains milk. Once the growth of the probiotics is complete, they are separated from the milk media and put in a dairy-free base. However, because Solgar is always stribing to better our formulations, we were dedicated to finding a way to culture our probiotics without the use of mailk and we succeeded.

Multi-Acidophilus Powder is 100% safe for people who are allergic to, or choose not to eat, dairy. Each one half (1/2) teaspoon serving delivers 333 million viable microorganisms each of L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus GG, and B. bifidum.

The combination of L. acidophilus and B. bifidum has been shown to support the health of the colon and help maintain a healthy balance of intestinal flora. Acidophilus additionally supports lactose digestion, while the inclusion of L. rhamnosus GG helps address diarhea.
