About The Niacin Skin Flush - Safe, Beneficial & Invigorating
SuperNutrition uses niacin rather than niacinamide because it is the more active form of Vitamin B3 and provides nutritional benefits not available from niacinamide, including a possible "niacin flush." The baicin flush represents increased blood flowm which in turn carries more nutrients and oxygen directly to the cells in your body. This niacin flush may result in a warm to hot, reddening, sometimes itchy tingling of the skin. It can last from 15 minutes to one hour or more and may be followed by a slight passing chill. In very rate cases, the niacin flush may result in a rash.

The Niacin Skin Flush
To help reduce the niacin flush, SuperNutrition uses an exclusive Two-Stage Fast Release for the niacin in the Opti-Pack. With this method, unless more than one brown multi-vitamin tablet is taken at once, fewer people flush. Yet, even without a flush, you still get the benefits of the niacin for of Vitamin B3.

Notice About Vitamin E
Although there are few, if any, reports of problems, people with high blood pressure, rheumatic heart disease, diabetes or overactive thyroid should always consult their physicians before increasing their Vitamin E, and should always increase it slowly and carefully.

Suggested Use:

Before taking this product, please read the side panel About Our Niacin Skin Flush.

Directions - Three packets per day for full potency.
To improve Calcium absorption, take your vitamins 2 to 3 times daily immediately after meals.

Adults (18 years or older)
Preferred Usage - For best absorption of nutrients and the least chance of experiencing "the niacin skin flush:"

1 packet (2 brown tablets and 2 gray/green tablets after each meal, three times per day.

Alternate Usages - These options increase the chance of "the niacin skin flush:"

2 packets after your largest meal, and 1 packet after another meal.
3 packets after a full meal.

Teenagers (13-14 years)
1 packet total per day: 1 brown tablet and 1 gray/green tablet after breakfast and 1 brown tablet and 1 gray/green tablet after lunch.

Teenagers (15-17 years)
1 packet after a full breakfast and again after lunch.

Note 1: The brown tablets contain niacin, therefore taking more than two brown tablets at a time increases the chance of "the niacin skin flush."

Note 2: The gray/green tablets contain calcium. You can improve calcium absorption up to 30% by dividing your tablets between 2 to 3 meals per day.
